Where do you live now? Kearns
What are you passionate about? Theatre. Every aspect of working on a show fulfills me greatly–the acting, the storytelling, the directing, everything.
What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? Been loving my Jazz Dance class. It’s a blast trying to do it because I am oh so bad, which only makes it easier to notice the places I’m getting better. Also nice to be doing jazz dance safely as I had injured my self for 4 months after dancing last year. (Only because I had to keep dancing on that poor, poor, withered foot.)
Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? I’d probably go for someone who doesn’t look or act at all like me, make it sort of an uncanny thing to watch. So I’ll go for either Sir Patrick Stewart or Megan Thee Stallion.
Where do you see yourself in five years? 6 feet under.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I’d like to be able to burrow through the ground like a mole. Enough said.
Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: I can actually do the splits. And no, even though I’m a dude, nothing of mine gets crushed in the process. (thankfully)
Sonny’s Favorites
Favorite musicians and/or artists: Love me a 4th grade class just learning how to “play” the recorder. I love that sweet succulent sound that some tooting aimlessly with no rhythm, key, melody, or effort.
Favorite TV shows and/or movies: Jury Duty for sure. It’s the perfect blend of improv and gaslighting, my 2 favorite things.
Favorite sports or sports teams: Paintballing has always been one of my favorites. I remember in 8th grade I was shot 3 times in the neck and everyone thought I had a hickey. (I had no game in 8th grade, I didn’t even know what a hickey was.)
Favorite food: Cheese. It goes well alone, on anything, and there are so many varieties to choose from. It’s truly the greatest food of all time.
What’s your favorite place to eat? Favorite place to eat is my car as I’m stuck in traffic for an hour. Nothing better to do.
What was your favorite cereal as a kid? I only ate Life. I know, what a ‘square’ I was.
