Chris’s Bio

Your major: Music Recording Technology

Your hometown: Salt Lake City

Where do you live now? Salt Lake City

What are you passionate about? I’m passionate about music and animals. I play the drums, guitar, and I also make beats. Grew up playing in bands. I used to work with grizzly bears when I lived in Montana and I own a few different kinds of snakes and I have a pitbull named Claire.

What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? My favorite class at SLCC has been Music Production Group because it allows me open access to the recording studio at SLCC.

Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? I think Bobby Lee would do a good job of playing me. I mean, yeah we look a little different, but I think he’d do a good job!

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I see myself running a recording studio as well as working in live sound. Both of those things are career paths I hope to follow.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I think it would be cool to be able to fly, because then I would never need a chair or a ladder to change a light bulb.

Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: I used to work with grizzly bears at a grizzly rescue facility in Montana.

Favorite food: My favorite food is BBQ, I’ve gotten into grilling and smoking meats in the last few years and it’s been really fun!

What’s your favorite place to eat? My favorite place to eat is Rodizio Grill, they have all kinds of meats and the restaurant is always a fun experience.

What was your favorite cereal as a kid? I loved Honey Bunches of Oats, it’s a solid choice whenever you need a snack, and it also doesn’t cut the roof of your mouth open like Captain Crunch!
