What are you passionate about? I am passionate about a few things. One of the main things I’m passionate about is video editing/content creation. This is what makes me want to pursue film making/content creation, so I can make something and tell others that I can make something spectacular like an award winning film..
What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? The classes that I enjoyed so far through my time here at SLCC are COMM 1500, FILM – COMM 1800, COMM 2200, ENGL 1010, BUS 1010, FIN 1380, and COMM 2570. As for COMM 1560, I bet it will also become a favorable class, but time will tell.
Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? I would say Ben Affleck would be the perfect actor to play my life story. Ben Affleck has a laid back demeanor just like me, has a sarcastic humor, and can be stubborn some of the time.
Where do you see yourself in five years? By the time 5 years has passed, I would like to see myself with my bachelor’s degree and working in the field of video content creation or film-making.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? If I could have any superpower, it would be telekinesis. Telekinesis sounds fun and useful, but it’s also like having two superpowers in one. To explain further, you could make a carpet fly just like in *Aladdin* and use it to travel through the sky.
Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: one thing people would be surprised to know about me is that I can do a few voice impressions. A few impressions I can do are Elmo, Stitch, Venom, and the roadrunner. Some I can do better than others, but still fun to do.
Malachi’s Favorites
Favorite musicians and/or artists: Most of my favorite music comes from Imagine Dragons and NF. Imagine Dragons have always been my favorite since I was really little. I just like how the music wants you to sing. As for NF, his music is strong and different. He makes songs that tell stories, good stories.
Favorite TV shows and/or movies: So far, my favorite movie so far is Maverick Top Gun. The movie is intense and funny and overall has an amazing storyline that I could watch over and over again.
Favorite sports or sports teams: My favorite sport is soccer. Mainly it was because I played soccer when I was very young and really enjoyed the sport. When it comes to watching sports, I like to watch football with my family.
Favorite food: My favorite food is the Dorito Casserole. If you never had it, then search up a recipe for it. Dorito Casserole was a meal that my mom made every so often and when she did, it was heaven every time. I will never get sick of it.
What’s your favorite place to eat? My favorite place to eat is a little restaurant in Vernal called La Cabana. The Mexican food is amazing and stands as #1 in my opinion.
What was your favorite cereal as a kid? My favorite cereal as a kid is Captain Crunch, it would still be considered my favorite today. I just don’t eat it as much as I did when I was younger.
