Donny’s Bio
Your major: Music Production
Your hometown: SLC, Utah
Where do you live now? SLC baby
What are you passionate about? DJ culture and production. Whether it be Chicago footwork or Detroit techno, I dig it. It started out with punk, then hip hop, then it became everything else in between. About 9th grade was the first time I picked up my phone and started making beats. I’d go down to this record store called “Raunch,” they had the best obscure records in the back and I’d just buy 20 of them, bike back home, chop.
What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? I’m surprised but Intro to Writing is pretty engaging, just good things to know.
Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? Steve Buscemi
Where do you see yourself in five years? Stable and balanced, with a crazy buzzcut, and a car – smells like roses.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Everything Silver Surfer can do, do yo research!
Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: Cheesy scrambled eggs with ketchup is good as hell.
