Alisha’s Bio

Your major: Nursing

Your hometown: Tooele, Utah

Where do you live now? Centerville, Utah

What are you passionate about? I love going to Salt Lake FanX and dressing up as characters from video games and TV shows.

What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? I really like this class so far. It has been fun to learn about recording and editing.

Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? Melissa McCarthy. She is a funny actor and I always have a fun time watching her in movies. She and I are bigger girls, but she always looks good and is confident in herself.

Where do you see yourself in five years? As a nurse at the University of Utah. Probably going for my masters in nursing education.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? To stop time. I would love more time to play video games, watch tv, and sleep.

Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: I use to be in the color guard, which is basically dancing with flags. I also had the opportunity to do lots of flag ceremonies for my high school. I even was able to hold the American flag on several occasions.

Alisha’s Favorites

Favorite musicians and/or artists: Abba is one of my favorite artists. Saturday morning my dad would wake us up with Abba and we would clean all day with the songs playing in the background.

Favorite TV shows and/or movies: I love The Big Bang Theory. My brother is Autistic and Sheldon reminds me of him. My family loves science and nerdy things so we laugh so hard at some of the situations.

Favorite sports or sports teams: I love the Jazz! I have fond memories of watching some games with my grandpa and him trying to explain the game.

Favorite food: Spaghetti. I feel like you can never go wrong with Italian food.

What’s your favorite place to eat? I love Chick-fil-A! I live dangerously close to one. I love going there with my roommates!

What was your favorite cereal as a kid? I love Cocoa Pebbles. When I found out I was lactose intolerant I was very happy that they still tasted good with almond milk.
