Josh’s Bio

Your major: Computer Engineering

Your hometown: Los Angeles, California

Where do you live now? Murray, Utah

What are you passionate about? I’ve always been passionate about computers and electronics. I think the endless utility of circuits for thing like data collection/analysis, communication, and entertainment is really fascinating.

What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? One of my favorite classes at SLCC that I’ve taken so far is EE 2260: Fundamentals of Electrical Circuits II. The way that oscillating signals with different frequencies can affect a circuit and how that relates to other areas of study was very interesting to learn about.

Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? Michael Cera would probably be good at playing a caricaturized version of myself in a movie about my life.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I see myself with my bachelor’s degree and working towards my career goals.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? If I could have a superpower, I’d like to have a perfect memory. It can be hard for me to remember little details like names or dates the first time I hear them, so it would be nice to have a mental list to keep track of everything.

Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: I’m usually a quiet, thoughtful person, but people might be surprised to know that there’s a 5% chance I’m not thinking about anything in particular.

Favorite sports or sports teams: I’m not really interested in sports.

Favorite food: I don’t have a particular favorite food, but I’m always a fan of Asian dishes with noodles.

What’s your favorite place to eat? My favorite place to eat is probably Jinya Ramen Bar.

What was your favorite cereal as a kid? I didn’t have a favorite cereal when I was younger. I mostly had whatever I felt like at the time.
