Brian’s Bio
Your major: Journalism & Media Studies
Your hometown: Logan, UT
Where do you live now? Salt Lake City
What are you passionate about? I am passionate about sports, my dogs, a stirring up the status quo. I love the Chicago Cubs, Utah Jazz, and Denver Broncos. Life has a lot of great things in it, but my dogs are easily the best part of each day!
What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? I’ve enjoyed most of my classes at SLCC. This is probably my favorite semester so far. I love being able to focus on subjects that I enjoy instead of fighting through generals.
Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? I’m told that Woody Harrelson is my celebrity dopplegangler. If I could have Woody play me in a movie, I believe I could die a happy man.
Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years I hope to be progressing through the ranks of radio or TV media. Ideally, I will be working for a professional sports franchise, soaking up all of the experience possible.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I do have a superpower. I can reference movies or TV in almost any situation. I drive my girlfriend crazy by going on random diatribes that have seemingly no relation to anything in our conversations. Lately, she has started waited for me to finish and then asking, “What ridiculous show are you quoting now?”
Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: I am currently in the middle of traveling the country to see a game in every Major League Baseball stadium. I’ve got a long way to go…
