Tina’s Bio

Your major: Communications with an Emphasis on Journalism

Your hometown: West Valley City, UT

Where do you live now? West Valley City, UT

What are you passionate about? Good grammar, interesting news articles, black clothing, journal writing, all things superhero related, and being the loudest person in movie theaters.

What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? Last semester, I took Intro to Humanities, and I swear that professor could’ve made a job in HR sound interesting. She was amazing.

Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? Scarlett Johansson would absolutely need to play me so I can say that I was sort of, “technically” Black Widow for a hot second.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I see myself as a journalist or an editor. Hopefully living outside of Utah in a small apartment with an even smaller animal.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I would be able to move things with my mind. I leave things everywhere all of the time, and I’m so tired of having to drive back to the gym because I left my water bottle in the bathroom again.

Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: I collect superhero movies! Also, I used to watch The Avengers everyday for about 3 months and could’ve been able to recite the entire dialogue to the movie. What have you done today?

Tina’s Favorites

Favorite musicians and/or artists: Sam Smith and The Weeknd are my favorites!

Favorite TV shows and/or movies: Friends, How I Met Your Mother, and THE OFFICE. The Office, The Office, The Office. I’ve casually re-watched seasons 1-7 like 5 times. I’ve also never seen season 8 and 9 because I know where my main man goes, and I just can’t put myself through that much agony right now.

Favorite sports or sports teams: If I’m watching sports, it’s usually the Pats. I’m not a die hard fan, so don’t try and quiz me on whether or not I know Edelman’s blood type.

Favorite food: PASTA. Or extremely greasy burgers and McDonald’s fries.

What’s your favorite place to eat? I don’t go out to eat too often because my mom doesn’t just cook for anyone, but Zupas is great. Their salads make me a salad person.

What was your favorite cereal as a kid? My mom seriously only bought us Kix. I did not taste flavored cereal until I was in junior high. But you already know that I was getting my veggies in every morning with that cereal!
