Where do you live now? Salt Lake City
What are you passionate about? Sports! I am a big sports fan and want to work in sports media for my career so I pay very close attention to local sports and national news. Working on my Podcast, Rocky Mountain Sports, is my hobby/passion that I work exclusively on.
What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? I had an anthropology class last summer semester and that class was so fascinating to learn about early humans and evolution.
Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? Ryan Reynolds if he’s available, assuming he’s busy maybe Diego Luna or Adrien Brody because we kinda look alike.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from a university and on my way to ESPN or Fox Sports.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Flying or teleportation so I can skip traffic and never be late.
Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: I’m a big smooth jazz fan. I love the sound of jazz music and hearing different artists improvise during songs.
Marcos’s Favorites
Favorite musicians and/or artists: I listen to a lot of rap. Most of my favorite rappers are dead so I don’t have to worry about new music coming out.
Favorite TV shows and/or movies: My favorite TV networks are ESPN, Fox Sports, Comedy Central, Viceland, and news outlets like NBC and CBS.
Favorite sports or sports teams: Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons, Utah Jazz, Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles, Utah Utes, Florida State Seminoles, TCU Horned Frogs, Chicago Blackhawks.
Favorite food: I like a lot of food. I’m usually willing to try anything once. I work in a sushi bar and I love Mexican food and Italian food.
What’s your favorite place to eat? Other than the sushi bar I work at, Blue Finn is my favorite sushi bar. It’s a converted Wendy’s so it looks a little shady but the rolls there are incredible and cheap.
What was your favorite cereal as a kid? As a kid?! Cereal is my 2nd favorite thing to eat even now. I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Reece’s Puffs if I’m feeling fancy.
