Your major: I am a communications major.

Your hometown: I was born in Logan, UT.

Where do you live now? I’ve lived in SLC, UT since I was four.

What are you passionate about? I really enjoy gaming. I’ve been gaming since I was five but I haven’t been able to do much of it because going through college is my top priority at the moment.

What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? I like any class that has to do with film and tv production and also creative writing.

Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? There is only one actor I see playing me: Dustin Hoffman. I was actually named after him.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years I see myself finished with school and working in a tv studio, a radio station, but preferably on film sets.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? If I could have one superpower, it would be shapeshifting. I can just transform into any animal for any situation; whatever’s the most convenient at the moment. Oh, who am I kidding? Dragon all the way!

Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: Something people might be surprised to learn about me is that I am a brony. I like My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic.

Dustin’s Favorites

Favorite musicians and/or artists: I grew up listening to, and still listen to a lot of older music by Josh Groban, Phil Collins, Enya, and John Denver.

Favorite TV shows and/or movies: Before I practically stopped watching TV, my favorite show was The Simpsons, and my favorite movie from recent years is Zootopia. My favorite kind of movie is children’s/family type movies, many of which are animation, plus some anime like Mushi-Shi and Wolf’s Rain.

Favorite sports or sports teams: There’s actually only two teams I’ve ever cared enough about sports to “root” for, and those are the Utah Jazz basketball and University of Utah’s Utes football.

Favorite food: I am so all about the pasta but I also like a lot of hispanic and oriental dishes.

What’s your favorite place to eat? I like the Rumbi Island Grill and also places with all-you-can-eat buffets like Chuck-A-Rama.

What was your favorite cereal as a kid? My favorite cereal as a kid… okay not just as a kid because I still love it… is Capn’ Crunch. Crunchitize me Capn’!
