Brittany’s Bio
Your major: Digital Art
Your hometown: West Valley City
Where do you live now? West Valley City
What are you passionate about? I’m super passionate about fashion and clothing. I love to try on different aesthetic pieces and see how they look on me.
What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? My favorite class so far that I’ve taken at SLCC would have to be my Comm 2250 class. In this class I learn all about the backstage perspective of how tv, live shows, etc. work. I work with lighting, audio, and so many fun gadgets.
Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? I really like Keira Knightly. She is so talented and beautiful, I wish I were her. However, if were realistically trying to convey my personality, Jennifer Lawrence would do the best job in my opinion.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Shoot, in five years I sure hope I’m married and have a steady income. Maybe have a kid on the way. Maybe not.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I’ve thought about this more than I’d like to admit. I’ll give you two answers. First, would be the ability to control the elements and weather. You could do so much with that, and it’s be pretty gnarly. Okay, now for the second one hear me out. The ability to gain any power you see. Say you can already fly and you see a movie where a guy teleports instead. With this “inheriting” power you could be like “I want to do that” and then you could fly and teleport. It’s like you’re collecting powers. I don’t know if that makes sense but it does to me.
Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: All throughout high school I was on a competitive team. I was on the drill team, madrigal choir, advanced theatre, etc. I was a busy gal.
Brittany’s Favorites
Favorite musicians and/or artists: I really wish I could tell you my favorite artist or musicians. I really don’t have one, I listen to so many different genres that it’s just too hard to choose. However, one song that I really dig is Ride It by Regard. It’s not something I’d normally listen to, but man is it a vibe.
Favorite TV shows and/or movies: I recommend Good Girls on Netflix. I think it has a little bit of everything for everyone. It shows the reality of parenting, it has drama in the crimes committed, has progressive characters, etc. Really good watch.
Favorite sports or sports teams: I love love love sports. I would have to say my top 3 favorite sports to watch would by football, hockey, and basketball. I really couldn’t tell you any rules about either of the games or how they work, but the competitiveness of the games really pull me in.
Favorite food: My favorite dish would have to be chicken noodle soup. The one my mom makes, specifically. I love it because I ate it growing up and eventually it became my comfort food.
What’s your favorite place to eat? Chick fil a, man. Hands down. You can’t beat their chicken nuggets or their spicy chicken sandwiches, and don’t get me started on the peppermint shakes.
What was your favorite cereal as a kid? You CANNOT beat Reese’s Puffs. Do you remember that commercial of that one kid rapping about how good it is? Yeah, I’m telling you, it’s just as good as he says. Maybe even better.
