What are you passionate about? I am passionate about maintaining the moral integrity and quality of public service.
What is your favorite class (or classes) at SLCC? COMM – 1020 – Public Speaking was my favorite because it helped me come out of my shell.
Which actor/actress would play you in your life movie? If I were in a movie I would play myself because I am the only woman for the job.
Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years I should be near earning my masters degree.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? If I could have any superpower, I would pick healing because watching people suffer is disheartening to say the least.
Something about you that other people would be surprised to know: The fact that I work in education is surprising because I used to HATE school.
Vanessa’s Favorites
Favorite musicians and/or artists: I think some of the best musical artists are Outkast. I always felt like a pariah so their music hits the spot.
Favorite TV shows and/or movies: All my favorite tv shows are on HBO because the content is never superficial.
Favorite sports or sports teams: Im not a big sports fan but I’ll enjoy watching a game basketball.
Favorite food: I love any variety of Asian food, especially the spicy kind!
What’s your favorite place to eat? The best place to get brunch is at the Dodo. I always order the chili verde skillet because its fire!
What was your favorite cereal as a kid? As a kid my favorite cereal consisted of the marshmallows from the Lucky Charms box.
